St. Regis – Buffet lunch you cannot miss in Bangkok
Yes Bangkok is a food paradise. You know, I know, I know you know. But you probably do not know about this glamous place for lunch. And it is affordable.
On the 12th floor of the new 6-stars luxury hotel St. Regis, this restaurant offers buffet meals with deluxe Thai and Western cuisines. When we arrived, there were already people waiting to be seated.
What welcoming us were fresh raw oysters, desserts at the door, and I also saw some lobster craws. But wait, drinks are also included.
Of course, alcoholic drinks are charged extra. For me, keep having these drinks can filled half of my stomach. But I want this instead.
Right! Unlimited lobsters! This time, the lobster was grilled, with Thai style sauce on the side.
Before leaving the table, take some table number cards with you. These cards are for the waiters to put the food you chose to your table.
Also, raw oyster cannot be missed. They have 3-4 types depends on seasons.
Don’t worry about the hygiene. All raw oysters are put on ice and unopened. You choose the types you want and how many you want, and hand them to the chef, with the table number card. They will open them for you and serve on your table.
Also, they have variety of cold seafoods and cold cuts. This really attracted me.
They also have 2 types of soups. It was Tom Yum and Lobster Bisque this time. When I pass, I saw Wagyu and Ribs of Lamb!
There are also other gourmets made to order. Beside grilled lobsters, they also have grilled lamb, scollops, Thai curry, etc. I have no idea how one can still say hungry when they leave the restaurant.
Well, when I had my third grilled lobsters, 5th glass of mocktails, I really thought I had enough for the day. (note, not for lunch but for the day!)
How can I forget desserts! Desserts are in another stomach, so they does not count.
Here we go, 6-stars hotel must have lunch buffet in Bangkok. Forget about losing weight in Thailand. However, don’t for get to reserve a table ahead of time. Good things are always popular.
